Day 1 Arrive Trivendrum – Kovalam
You are received & welcomed by our representative at the Airport/Railway Station/Decided Location. He will present you the travel documents then transfer you to Kovalam the beach resort of South India, enriched with rich Greenery of Coconut Palms and laced with golden sands. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free to relax and enjoy the beach.
Day 2 Kovalam
Free to enjoy the beach.
Day 3 Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam
Today morning after breakfast you can go for Kanyakumari Sightseeing, the southern tip of India, the meeting place of three great oceans and also one of the important pilgrim centre of Hindus (Vivekananda Rock). The Kanyakumari beach is famous for its spectacular sun rise and sun set. Visit the famous old palace called Padmanabhapuram Palace and famous Suchendra Temple Later drive back to the hotel. Evening free to enjoy the beach.
Day 4 Kovalam – Quilon (Kollam)
Drive to Quilon is the centre of countries cashew trading and processing industy, one of the oldest ports of Malabar Coast. 30% of the of this historic place is covered by Ashatamudi Lake. Over night at a beautiful resort in the side of this beautiful lake,
Day 5 Quilon (Kollam)
Today after breakfast go for village visit, use the backwater recreation club. Free relax at the resort.
Day 6 Quilon – Alleppey
Drive to Alleppey, Water locked place is endowed with immense natural beauty and array of rivers, canals and lakes ideal for boat cruise. On arrival check in to a traditional Kerala style Houseboat and Cruise through the back waters is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters.
Day 7 Alleppey – Periyar
After breakfast continue to Periyar, South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary, its home to bison, wild elephant, boar, languor, the great Indian tiger and more. On arrival check in to the Hotel. Afternoon you can go for boat cruise in the Lake to watch wild animals.
Day 8 Periyar
Today morning you can go to see the rare species of plantations and animals. Afternoon visit spice plantation like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee, and tea estate etc… On way back to Hotel you could stop the local market and pick up some fragrant spices.
Day 9 Periyar – Munnar
Drive to Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. Arrive Munnar and check in at hotel. In the evening you can go for sight seeing of Munnar and witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lust green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the covered by Tata tea.
Day 10 Munnar
Today you can go for sightseeing Munnar which includes the Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats), Mattupetty dam; you can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional).
Day 11 Munnar – Cochin
Drive to Cochin – the queen of Arabian Sea, meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Cochin is one of the finest natural harbours in the world; this was one of the major centre for commerce and trade with the British. On arrival check into the one of the heritage hotels.
Day 12 Cochin
Afternoon breakfast, you can go for sightseeing of Cochin which includes the Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, St.Francis Church and the Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening visit the famous dance drama of Kerala, the Kathakali. This dance is characterized by artistic gesticulations, amazing costumes and very extensive make-up. The stories are mostly taken from the Hindu epics of Mahabharatha and Ramayana.
Day 13 Depart Cochin
This is the last day of your Kerala Family Package Tour after breakfast do your check out formalities &on time transfer to Airport/Railway Station/Decided Location for your onwards journey.
